about

"Memory Lane" is a whimsical, psychedelic trip into the past: tinged with nostalgia yet accepting of the present moment. Ian and Kristina Dandridge were inspired sonically by their trip to Nashville to study audio engineering and songwriting at Ocean Way Studios which led to a production leaning on the acoustic instrumentation from live drums, acoustic violin and slide guitar. Characteristic to the Infinite Daisy Chains ethos they added their signature daisy chained, analog synth sound designs to the acoustic instrumentation for a "genre-bending" ride down "Memory Lane."

lyrics

I remember it well,
first time I met you
it was never too early to tell.
Under a blue moon
hypotized by your eyes
there was nothing I could do.
Memory lane,
Oh how those were the days.
A blessing,
a curse.
For better or worse.
That was then and this is now.
I remember it well,
you were floating off the ground.
Pink and purple hues
it surrounded you.
Memory lane,
Oh how those were the days.
A blessing,
a curse.
For better or worse.
That was then and this is now.
I'm rolling on and breaking ground.
